At our company, we value clear and effective communication in English. To ensure our team meets these standards, all candidates undergo standardized language tests. This process guarantees that our scribes can produce high-quality documentation that meets client expectations while maintaining professional excellence. 

Our remote scribes are trained to document patient encounters quickly and accurately. To maintain these high standards, we evaluate candidates’ typing speed using standardized tests and provide coaching or lessons if needed.

We believe that having the right personality traits is essential for success as a medical scribe. Therefore, we evaluate candidates’ personality types using standardized personality tests. Specifically, we look for individuals who are detail-oriented, empathetic, and able to perform well under pressure. By carefully selecting candidates with these qualities, we ensure our scribes can provide accurate, efficient, and patient-focused documentation.

In addition to reviewing their work experience and skill set, we also prioritize academic performance, which is a key factor in predicting potential success. Specifically, we examine grades, test scores, and other indicators of academic achievement. Moreover, we focus on candidates with a background in health sciences or other relevant fields to ensure they are well-prepared for the demands of medical scribing.

At our organization, we conduct thorough and mandatory background checks on all potential scribes to ensure we hire trustworthy individuals with a clean record. These checks include verification of HIPAA compliance and criminal history. For example, in the Philippines, the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) clearance certifies that an individual has no criminal record or pending cases. Similarly, other countries have their own background checks to verify the absence of a criminal history. These screenings are commonly required in industries such as healthcare, finance, security, and law enforcement. By conducting these checks, we reduce the risk of hiring individuals who could pose a threat to our organization or clients. Consequently, we protect both sensitive patient information and our organization’s reputation.
